Here are a few scams to be aware of Double whammy: As more and more people become aware of the scam sites where you have to pay for information on "Make millions fast without working", new types of scamsites are growing up. The scammers create websites where they inform of scamming, but they have been scanning and evaluating all the sites and have come up with one or two sites, where it is not a scam. They have checked it out and they will really pay lots and lots of money for just a small registration fee. THIS IS NOT TRUE. Most of them own or are affiliated with the site they promote. Often I have seen that the site they have as 100% OK, only have a very few places left. You are entering an exclusive "Club" and it is only £24.99 (Or whatever amount they ask for). THEY ARE SCAMS, NEVER PAY FOR FOR JOB OFFERS! Receive and transfer money: This is the worst kind. Promising a percentage of money transferred into your account and then you just transfer it on. They are criminals, they will use this method to white wash cash and one day the police will knock on your door, and as you are the one in the middle you will be prosecuted for illegal money laundering. Receive and re-send goods: Another scam of the same kind. Someone living in a country where companies will not send or sell to, that's the story, need a middleman in a legitimate country, United Kingdom, to be the receiver. Then you just have to send the packages on. Same procedure as above, bought with stolen credit cards, when investigatied you will be procecuted for handling stolen goods. |
